NEW! 1st Ever Advisory Committee Adds Inaugural Member

The Gridiron Football - Green Bay league commissioner, Mike Lovelace, announced a new committee for the league. He said that the purpose of the committee is to "of course promote the league, but to also offer inputs on league play, competition and event strategies." This is the first time the Gridiron Football League has done something like this and are optimistic to launch something like this here in Green Bay.

When asked about why Green Bay and the Gridiron Football League, Montgomery said, "Mike (Lovelace) and I have talked a bit since I left Green Bay and he's always working for the community. He is a passionate coach and has that competitive drive, as do I. He laid out his ideas on the future of the league and what he would like to do for the community of Green Bay, and I definitely want to be a part of that. Green Bay was always so great to me and I love being back. I am excited to see what the future holds."

Although right now Montgomery doesn't plan to be in attendance on Gamedays, he will be involved in meetings and conversations and have an idea of what is happening to promote the vision of the league. Montgomery has done work in the film and acting industry since his retirement and was recently back in town to welcome teammates Clay Matthews and Aaron Kampan into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame. Other members of the committee will slowly be announced by the league and the league says you can expect to see more familiar faces from the Green and Gold.
